Who is Katy?

Tell Katy is not a person. Tell Katy is a “code word” concept to provide children with a simple way for them to disclose they have experienced sexual abuse.

Tell Katy are “code words” to help a child tell a safe person what happened when the words are too hard.

Tell Katy is not meant to be a secret – quite the opposite. The more people who know about the code word Tell Katy, the more it will help keep children safe.

Tell Katy the App is a tool to assist in educating children about preventing sexual abuse.

It is intended to be kept as an ongoing tool that children can engage with and learn as they grow older. It is also a great tool as a point of reference should your child ever be concerned about something as they grow older.

Our goal is to provide children with the knowledge and tools they need to help prevent sexual abuse. We understand that this is a sensitive topic, but we believe that education is the key to keeping children safe.
